Gaming

So Dedrick and I have been spending every weekend or every other weekend gaming with our friends the Marshall's and Stark's. This started in November 2011, when we invited both families to come to dinner at our house to have a game night. To break the ice and get to know everyone better we played the game called "Curses", and man did it ever. Since that night we have been hang out playing games.

So with us getting together so often you would think our kids would be fighting or not want to hang out. This has not happened with the nine kids that are involved at each game night. The kids get a long great, like they are best friends. Every now and then they my say mean thing to each other, but are very good about saying sorry!

I am very grateful for these wonder friends for the support, love and laughter they bring us.

Valentines

This year two of my very good friends Amanda and Jennifer and I went to see a movie. We did not realize when we picked the day to go out together it was Valentines. All three of us are not into the whole Valentines days hoopla. So when I went to pick up the girls, it was the husbands that realized it was Valentines. We joked that this was there gift to us by watching the kids and giving us a girls night out. We had fun talking and joking and just hanging out together.

I do want to thank our three wonderful husbands for letting the us go out and taking care of the kiddos!

10th Anniversary

It's wonderful to realize that we've been marred for 10 years. We never could have guessed where life would take us, but we're grateful for all the blessings we've had along the way. We have three beautiful children, Dedrick has a great job as an engineer in natural gas liquids and Damian enjoys her part time work at the local post office as well. We've made some great friends here in Kansas.

We had the chance to run away for the weekend. The kids went to friends houses for sleepovers and we went to Wichita. We went to dinner at Kobe Japan Steak House, then saw a movie, and then checked in to our hotel for the night. We enjoyed spending the time alone to talk and enjoy each others company. We've made it this far and we will continue to make more memories together on this road.
